Latest Review in November 2013

The blog has been quiet these past few days. We were super busy with guests from Bengkalis who stayed with us for almost a week. We hope  their stay was memorable and enjoyable. We sure enjoyed their company.

Here's our latest review from our guest booked from booking.com. Translated from Dutch, thanks to google.com.

"The guesthouse is incredibly well appointed for the price. There is Wi-Fi, cable TV, an ATM , a supermarket. The rooms are clean as is the whole building. And the owners are friendly and helpful. So for low-budget guest house is more than fine"

Call +6283893486107 for booking. We have rooms available this week.

Looking forward to hosting all of you!

Latest Review

Thank You so much for the review..... It's very challenging to run a guesthouse but we try to improve day by day. Thanks to our guests for making our life colourful :)

Price, close to the Halim airport and nice people.

If you need to go to the Halim airport this hotel is the perfect choice. The owners are really nice and helpful. The room was new with A/C, wifi, TV and courtesy bottles of water. There is a small supermarket where you can buy everything you need. They bring the breakfast to the room every morning. It´s a good hotel in relation with the price. The only thing to improve is that employees do not speak English, only the owners.

It's the End of the Week and almost the last day of September !

Here's our breakfast menu for a lazy sunday... Steamed Macaroni Schotel & Sauteed Potatoes and Green Bell Pepper...

Breakfast at the Guesthouse

We just parted with one of our returning guests this morning. She had to catch an early morning flight.. so we were all up at 3 AM. she was rather surprised to see us all awake at 3 AM just to say good bye to her and her friends. We specifically cater breakfast to her and her friends at 4AM which she thought was a nice gesture. She and her friends definitely did not leave Sabda Guesthouse with an empty stomach.

Speaking of breakfast, a lot of our prospect guests ask us about breakfast. We do serve breakfast at the hours convenient to our guests. Some of our guests ask to serve breakfast at 5 AM whilst some prefer to eat breakfast at 8 AM. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the outdoor dining room, or patio, or at the privacy of your bedroom. Daily guests get breakfast everyday, whilst weekly guests get breakfast twice per week, and monthly guests once per week. Extra charge for breakfast is Rp. 25.000 per person/guest.

We also provide room service should you feel like staying in for lunch or dinner. But do tell us one day ahead so we could prepare the food. Price varies depending on the food ordered.

Here is a photo of breakfast served early this morning :

Busy-ness at Sabda Guesthouse

It has been  a busy week here at Sabda Guesthouse...We've just said goodbye to employees of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga. Their spontaneous comment was to thank us for our warm hospitality and home-made breakfast. They all wish to come back to Sabda Guesthouse should they have another job assignment in Jakarta. Running a guesthouse and living part as a business is certainly a consuming experience. But we are immensely gratified to see our guests enjoying our efforts. We are constantly looking to improve our service and facilities here.
